Quality parameters of maize hybrids intended for silage production

This study's primary objective was to assess the quality parameters of fifteen different genotypes Serbian maize hybrids in order establish whether they were suitable for making high-quality silage ruminant feed. The study carried out as a two-year field experiment at Maize Research Institute Zemun Polje, Serbia. Laboratory analyses included yield structure examined hybrids, evaluation composition lignocellulosic fiber and percentage their ratios, well vitro dry matter digestibility NDF whole plant samples.
